In 2009, the artist collective known as POST NEO EXPLOSIONISM (Jermaine Rogers, Emek, & Justin Hampton) released a striking collaborative silk-screened art print: 'The 27 Club'. The image has become a defining tribute to the pantheon of rock-and-roll's legends who fell victim to their 27th year. Musicians featured in this classic image include Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Brian Jones, and Robert Johnson.
Now, a decade later, PNE has released the '27 Club' Decade Edition introducing two additional members: Amy Winehouse + Ron 'Pigpen' McKernan. The full sized Decade Edition prints instantly sold out over at Collectionzz, and we are now pleased to offer the mini-print versions with the same papers offered in the recent sale, here at Neon Eye.
